We Believe

We believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.

We believe in One God:

  •  the Father who creates us and all things,

  •  the Son who redeems us from sin and death,

  •  the Holy Spirit who renews us as the Children of God.

We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the Word of God and to contain all things necessary for salvation.  We believe God inspired human authors and continues to speak to us through the Bible.

We affirm that salvation is the end of our separation from God and the beginning of a new relationship with God and with one another.  The Apostle's and Nicene Creeds are basic statements of our beliefs in God.

Statement of Inclusion

To all who experience marginalizing forces in our society, we at St. Paul’s say:

You are enough. We accept you as who you are. In fact, we feel that the church and the body of Christ are incomplete without you. We completely welcome and fully include every person, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, into the life and ministry of the church. We strive at all times for a spirit of hospitality and a willingness to live out that welcome in a meaningful way. We seek to be a beacon of hope and love in our community to the underserved, often forgotten, and the excluded; we fully welcome such persons into our St. Paul’s community.

As we share our affirmation of all persons in this way, please see the statement from our denomination, the Episcopal Church of America.
